Clinic
The Foundation and Center are not currently placing non-clinical individual volunteers in clinics. Please continue to check back for updates.
The Center is, however, placing accredited interns, externs and residents (or those currently in an accredited program) at clinics through Human Resources. Please contact Elaine Rothstein at 503-359-8519 for more information.
Outreach (Spring and Summer only)
Health and Dental Outreach Volunteers
Volunteers assist providers and outreach team in the migrant camps in Washington and Yamhill Counties:
- Assist with education
- Assist patients with paperwork
- Bilingual in English and Spanish or Trique
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons 2-8pm
- Must commit to at least 3 days total throughout the summer
Foundation Opportunities
Volunteers are needed to support the fundraising and community relations activities of the Foundation and they provide enduring support of Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center. Volunteers act as ambassadors for Virginia Garcia through the following activities:
-Event Support
-Hosting tables at community events
-Special projects
