Partnerships:
Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center exists thanks to many strong partnerships in the community, and that long tradition of collaboration keeps Virginia Garcia strong today. Because of our partnerships, we are able to offer our patients many additional services that play a vital role in our delivery of high quality, culturally appropriate service.
For example, our collaboration with LifeWorks Northwest provides our patients with on-site access to behavioral health specialists to assist with a number of important issues, ranging from prescription drug compliance to alcohol and drug abuse issues or help in dealing with depression; through our partnership with Pacific University’s Health Professions Campus School of Optometry, we are able to offer vision services to patients; a valued partnership with Meyer Memorial Trust enabled the Virginia Garcia Memorial Foundation to expand the number of employees to better meet the growing needs of the Health Center; and grants from corporate and private foundations support a number of vital programs such as Padres con Iniciativa, dental services for kids, and the OB Dental program, to name only a few.
