October 3, 2006 marked the grand opening of the new Virginia Garcia clinic in Hillsboro. The new clinic builds on a long-term partnership with Pacific University and is housed in the new Health Professions Campus across from Tuality Hospital. The facility more than doubles our capacity to serve the community and offers the following services:

· Primary care
* Well baby & child visits
* Treatment of diabetes, asthma and other chronic diseases
* Immunizations, OB/GYN and prenatal care
· Mental health
· Pharmacy services

This new clinic will provide exciting opportunities to not only serve a greater number in our community, but also to collaborate with Pacific University on the training of future health professionals. Virginia Garcia is very grateful for its partnerships with Pacific University, the City of Hillsboro, and Tuality Hospital that have helped make this new clinic possible.

The clinic has a total of 30 exam rooms, 22 for primary care and an additional 8 dedicated to our OB/prenatal practice. The clinic has 8 doctors, two nurses and 12 medical assistants.
