Site Information

Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center’s McMinnville site opened its doors in late October 2006. The new primary care clinic is located at 115 NE May Lane. The 13,400 square foot facility, designed specifically for Virginia Garcia, is the only clinic in Yamhill County dedicated to low-income/uninsured health care. The facility integrates culturally appropriate primary care, mental health, OB/maternity care, dental, pharmacy, and health education in one location. The new site has 23 exam rooms, five dental chairs, and an on-site pharmacy. At full capacity, its eight medical providers and two dentists will have the ability to see upwards of 10,000 patients per year.

Community partners involved in the $3 million development include the City of McMinnville, the Office of Economic Development, Meyer Memorial Trust, Spirit Mountain Community Fund, Murdock Charitable Trust, Collins Foundation, Paul G. Allen Family Foundation, Stimson Lumber, Rotary Club of McMinnville, and many individual donors.

Deliveries are at the Willamette Valley Medical Center. Physicians have privileges at the hospital and share call coverage with other OB physicians in the community.
