Physicians, nurse practioners, physician assistants, nurses, and medical assistants make up the core medical team. The focus of primary care is on prevention and health maintenance. Physicals, well child exams, immunizations, and family planning are some of the services offered as part of the primary care dimension of the Center.

Maternity Care

Prenatal, delivery and post partum care for over 600 babies each year.

Parenting Classes

The center offers parenting classes through the Parents with Initiative/Padres con Initiative (PCI) Program. Bilingual classes provide support and instruction of infant care to parents. As part of our support to parents the Center is a member of the New Parent Network, (NPN) a special program designed to assist first time parents. NPN is a collaborative project involving local hospitals and social service organizations.

Migrant Outreach Program

Through the Migrant Camp Outreach Program the Center provides medical treatment and health education to migrant and seasonal farmworkers living and working in the area migrant labor camps. From May through August the Center sends a team of doctors, nurses, and health educators to the camps to provide on-site treatment and education. The medical team utilizes a mobile clinic van through Northwest Medical Teams. Health Educators provide education on sexually transmitted diseases (STD's), HIV, AIDS, pesticide exposure, and prevention of work related injuries.
